There is no better way to spend quality time with your brood , than a family holiday in Turkey. However, it can be difficult to keep family members of all ages happy throughout the holiday. Here is a foolproof guide to keeping the entire family content during a family trip to Turkey.

Treat the Toddlers

A family holiday in Turkey might well be the very first time that the younger members of the family set foot on foreign turf, and where better to take them? The warm climate and inviting beaches make the perfect introduction to holidaying abroad. Teach them to swim in the privacy of your own pool, and then watch them venture into the big blue sea. Whilst you?re at the beach, you can even help them to build their very first sandcastle. Turkey is the ideal location for a child?s first holiday. The only problem is they?ll be clamouring for the next one the minute you get back.

Talk to the Teenagers

For many parents , taking teenagers on holiday can be something of a worry as it can be difficult to co ordinate activities that will suit all members of the family. However, a family holiday in Turkey can alleviate those worries. There?s nothing teenagers love more than a trip to the beach. Whilst you entertain the younger children, the teens will be more than happy to work on their tans, or to take to the sea for any one of the many water sports available. Once you?ve exhausted the beach, they?re sure to enjoy a trip into town for a spot of shopping in the bazaars.

Absolve the Adolescents

For the slightly older teenagers on a family holiday in Turkey , who insist that they are adults though you may not agree just yet, try to give them a little freedom. As you?re off out for the day, they may decide they?d rather stay in the lap of luxury at the villa and enjoy the pool, or they may want to go off and explore the local area without the watchful eyes of parents. Why not give them their way for a day? Absolve them of any family responsibilities, and by the end of the holiday you?ll find they?re actively suggesting family excursions they?d like you all to go on. The wonderfully relaxed atmosphere in Turkey means that you can give them the freedom they crave , without worry.

Goals for the Grown Ups

It?s all too easy for parents to forget that while they?re on a family holiday in Turkey, they?re supposed to be relaxing too. As well as planning activities that will please everyone else, be sure to make some time for yourselves as well. Take a day and insist that the whole family does something you like; this might be a long walk, or perhaps an exploration of some Lycian architecture. There is so much fascinating culture to be experienced in Turkey you really can?t go home without having seen it. You might also like to take yourselves away for an evening and enjoy a romantic dinner without the kids. Get the older ones to babysit the young ones, and enjoy a nice bottle of wine with a traditional Turkish dinner , perhaps even followed by a bit of a dance. After all, it?s your holiday too!

So, even though the thought of trying to keep everyone happy on a family holiday in Turkey might fill you with fear, you needn?t worry. This family friendly destination has plenty to offer people of all ages and you will come back feeling a relaxed and contented close knit family.
Not many experiences are as awful as trying to get over being dumped. You can feel ashamed, embarrassed , lonely, stricken, and depressed. This is especially true in the hours and days immediately following the breakup. Whether you felt that a breakup was coming or you were dumped seemingly out of the blue, breakups hurt. It?s not easy to get over being dumped, but you can do it.

Being in love is fantastic , but when relationships end it can send a person reeling. At first there is nothing but shock, and as time goes on it starts to really sink in. It can be hard to focus on school or work, and the things you did for fun before the breakup might not even be interesting to you anymore. You might be highly conscious of all the happy couples around you and feel like you?re the only one on the planet who isn?t part of a pair.

When you need to get over being dumped, there?s nobody better to turn to than your friends. Friends are there through thick and thin, and they?ll be there to help you through this breakup. They?ve probably each been through it before , and you?ve been there for them. If you haven?t seen them very much while you were dating your ex, say you?re sorry that you neglected them and ask for their forgiveness. Spending time with your friends can make you feel like yourself again.

Letting out the feelings you have about the breakup is also important. You can talk to a close friend or family member about it, or perhaps just visualizing a goodbye scene with your ex in your head is enough. If you like to get your feelings out on paper, write a letter to your ex describing all your feelings. Instead of sending it, throw it in the fireplace and burn it as a symbol that your relationship is over. This might help you to move on through the breakup and get over being dumped.

Whatever you do , don?t let yourself sit around feeling sorry for yourself or asking ?what if?? Put your spare time to good use. Get into motion and be productive. Create something: art, music, or writing. Focus on your schoolwork or your job. Start a new project around the house or commit to learning a new skill. This is the perfect time to invest time in yourself and make new goals. Accomplishing your goals will raise your self esteem. Staying physically active boosts your mood, so remember to exercise regularly or take up a sport that you?ve always wanted to try.

Getting over your breakup is a slow process, but don?t be discouraged. Time heals all wounds , this one included.
